Our Veteran Services Office assists military students and their dependents with admissions, financial aid, advisement and registration. We also provide information and support as you apply for VA educational benefits, tuition assistance and related services.

You’ll find a wealth of resources for veteran and military students and families at MCC and throughout the Rochester area. We have partnerships with the Rochester Veterans Outreach Center, the Canandaigua VA and the Monroe County Veterans Services Agency.
The team at MCC – and these outstanding organizations – can provide you with career counseling, personal counseling, familial support and financial assistance, as well as information about community activities and events.

A current MCC student will show you first-hand what life at MCC is like, along with our classrooms, labs and learning centers, sports facilities and four residence halls. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet some of our exceptional professors and staff. Be sure to stop by the Veteran Services Office on the Brighton Campus after your tour, so we can help you begin your journey at MCC.

As a veteran or military student, you’re eligible for federal and state financial aid, as well as aid through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The staff at our Veteran Services Office can help you determine which financial aid benefits will work best for you. We’ll develop a unique, financial picture based specifically on you, so you can make a decision to use your benefits or financial aid awards, or both, to best fulfill your personal needs.
